“Sip, Chat, and Connect — One Coffee Shop at a Time”
I am hosting relaxed, in-person gatherings at independent coffee or tea shops across the Twin Cities. I am inviting you to join me for genuine conversation. My goal is to provide a friendly meetup where we can connect, share stories, and build relationship in a cozy, inspiring setting.
I had my first one this last week and wondered who, if anyone, would show up?
I learned it is a great way to gain a better understanding of what is of interest, build my relationships and explore interesting coffee shops. I also learned not everyone is available on Wednesday afternoon so I will be alternating both the time and the location PLUS I will be posting pictures on this page.
Do You Have To Sign UP? No, just come – I will be there. Be sure to invite a friend!

Last Out & About of 2025
Alice Chu and I had a great visit at Smith Coffee & Cafe in Eden Prairie this past Friday. Alice shared her experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer in North Macedonia – what a great journey she had teaching English and life skills to young people. She shared her parting gift from the other staff and the students. It was a wonderful memory journal with a collection images and statements of the impact of her spirit and her work. Below are are few images of the journey.
